Application board made of FUNCARD? _CMN_EMAIL_ALT

In present-day times every electronic engineer can create the own micro-controller system. For sale there is a lot of developmental plates to testing the application. Some are very complex and quite dear. Very simple universal plate we can  make from the old FUNCARD. Times, when one could use them to the illegal watching television is over. It turns out that one can very easily use such cards as micro-controller systems. Obviously, we can use to this aim of the universal plate. However, I would like to demonstrate on the example of the card FUNCARD as quickly, one can build such arrangement near minimum costs. The general access is the additional trump to programmer units and application to programming of this type of devices.

1

The basic configuration for the processor AT90S8515 / ATMEGA8515 and for ATMEGA16 / ATMEGA32. Commercial developmental plates usually are adapted to the work with only one type of microprocessors. Our set can work with any processor in casing DIP40 and not at all this has to be „ATMEL”.
We will need SIL socket, bush style (2 times 40pin or 4 times 20pin), 2 ceramic condensers 12-22pF, the feeder 5V and several different things. The LCD display would be also useful for testing our set.

3
Using paints and the SIL socket we points on both sides of the socket and about 1 cm farther. We prick necessary points before boring and wipe paint from remaining places.
We cut off the unnecessary part of the plate. Using the abrasive paper we are removing layers.
4

We fix the nest of power supply and we distribute supports on 2x20 2x6 and 2x2 pin (you should cut with the knife from both sides them so that they crack well). We make the space 1pin for the quartz resonator, however between the rails of the power supply 2pin for the regulator of LCD contrast. Additional strengthener glue gives the certainty of stable connections.

5

We the piece of the wire unite ‘ + ’ of the nest of the power supply with first rail, and ‘–‘ with the second. We shunt the endings of the resonator with two condensers 12-22pF to the mass. Our micro-controller system is practically ready. We can connect display, sensors ,keyboard etc.

Adjustment of the contrast LCD with the additional condenser filtering the the power supply. Fastening line (the pin3 of the display) to the mass directly we can skip the regulator in the principle, however this good resolution does not guarantee. Diode coefficient executed from the piece of the precise support come in useful for testing the conditions of the harbours of the processor often, 8-at diodes LED and ladder ohmic resistors 8x1K Ω.

I propose to test the code: LCD_animation.

Have a good fun!
